If you do not agree to these Terms you may not use our website or our services.

This website is operated by Professional Medical Certifications. In these Terms of Service, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Professional Medical Certifications and the terms “you” and “your” refer to you, the user of this website and the services we offer.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website or our services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our Content and Services

We own all rights to the content offered on our website, except only for that content supplied by our third party suppliers, and for such content, we are authorized to provide and offer that content by our suppliers subject to the term set forth in these Terms of Service. By accessing our site or using our services you do not acquire any ownership rights in any materials offered on our website. You are, however, authorized to use our services, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

We own the copyright in content of our website and all other intellectual property rights associated with our website and our services; except only that content owned by our third party suppliers, which we are authorized to use.

You may take the courses provided on our website and obtain the certifications offered only for your personal use and for the purpose of learning and reviewing the content provided and for the purpose of obtaining the certifications offered, in accordance with prescribed instructional and certification courses.

You may access the course content provided on our website in accordance with these terms and our policies. You must pay the fees associated with our services in order to access and use our certification courses.

You may access and use our services only for their intended purpose. Specifically, you may use our services to take the courses provided and obtain the certifications we offer, assuming you meet the required qualifications. You may not copy or duplicate our content for any purpose other than obtaining a certification for yourself. You may not use the content or services for any commercial purposes, or any purpose other than to obtain the offered certifications, without our separate express written permission.

We further reserve the right to change any courses offered at any time. We further reserve the right to change, modify, revise or update the content of any course at any time.

Our ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPR certification and recertification courses are nationally accepted and based on the latest published cognitive guidelines, as endorsed by the American Heart Association's International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). We are also compliant with the current Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards.

ProMed offers the ability to purchase For Life products for ACLS, BLS, PALS and CPR. When you purchase a For Life product, you are purchasing that course and exam in perpetuity. You will be asked after you purchase a For Life product whether you would like to begin with a Certification or Recertification. 20 months after your new provider card is issued, you will be able to click a button on your dashboard to populate a new Recertification. This will occur each time you pass your exam. Your course and exam cannot be taken sooner than 20 months after your last issue date.

Our certifications are issued by Professional Medical Certifications, not the AHA (American Heart Association). The cards you receive from us will not include the AHA logo. We are our own provider, much like Red Cross or ASHI. The AHA does not approve or certify any providers operating completely online. Despite not having the AHA logo, we have helped thousands successfully certify online all across the country because our courses adhere to the latest guidelines as well as the same evidence-based training required by the JCAHO standards, which are the standards that the AHA builds their training on.

Our Continuing Medical Education credits are Category 2 credits, which are self documented credits.

ProMed Flex Expire™

Flex Expire™ is a voluntary feature that allows you to set the issue date for your new provider card once you pass an exam. The date must be within 30 days after passing your exam. Once a date is selected, you will not be able to change that issue date.

If you elect to change your issue date, ProMed Certifications is not responsible for any lapse in compliance that may occur. For this reason, you’ll want to ensure your current certification covers you until your ProMed Certifications card is issued on the date you’ve requested it to be issued. If you do not confirm your issue date within 24 hours of passing your exam (by confirming a change of date or by confirming the default current day), we will automatically set your issue date to the date you passed the exam.

Limitations On The Services We Offer

We do not guarantee that the course we offer will meet your needs. It is your responsibility to verify that the course we offer, and the content of that course, meet your needs, including meeting any licensing or regulatory requirements that may be applicable to your situation.

We reserve the right to modify our courses at any time without notice. Further, we reserve the right to limit the courses we offer or the number of people who may register for any course at any one time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any course you may be interested in will be available to you at any particular time.

We also cannot guarantee that 100% availability of our website or any course offered on our website. In addition, we cannot guarantee that availability of an internet connection at all times.

Your Obligations

You agree to pay for your courses and any services we offer in accordance with the terms and polices set forth on our webpages which includes our pricing and payment policies.

You agree that you will not upload any unauthorized or malicious information to our webpages. You agree that you will not upload or implement any computer virus or malware to our site, or any other computer programs designed to interfere with the normal operation of our website.

You agree that you will not upload any information to our site that you do not own or which you are not authorized to post to our site. By using our services or site and providing any information on our site, you represent and warrant to us that you own such materials or that you are authorized to post this information to our site. In addition, you grant us a perpetual non-cancellable license to use any materials you provide to us in any manner we deem appropriate. You further represent and warrant to us that all materials you provide to us do not infringe any intellectual property right of any third party, and that such materials do not violate any right of privacy or publicity of any third party. You further agree that you will not post any materials to our site which are illegal or obscene.

If you are a licensed healthcare provider, you acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to make sure that the information and techniques provided are used in compliance with your professional responsibility. You are solely responsible for any treatment you provide to any patient.

Disclaimer Of Warranties/Limitation of Liability

No warranty. We make no warranties and expressly disclaim all warranties with regard to the information offered on the website and in connection with the courses offered through our website. We expressly disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. You further agree that in no event will any liability we may have to you exceed the total amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months prior to any incident giving rise to any claim. Additional Provisions

This agreement is governed by Arizona law.

You agree that any lawsuit arising out of or related to this agreement may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. By using our services, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

In the event any lawsuit is brought arising out of or related to this agreement, the prevailing party in such legal action will recover their court costs and reasonable attorneys' fees.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are as set forth on our website.

Payment is due at the time the courses are provided.

You agree that if you fail to pay us in a timely manner, we may terminate providing any services or content to you.

By providing Your credit card information, You authorize the Company to charge Your credit card for all Services provided to You on an ongoing basis. You authorize the Company to charge Your credit card on file with the Company on a monthly basis for all fees and charges incurred by You.

In the event any charges are past due, the Company will charge interest on all past due amounts in an amount up to 18% per year on all past due charges and fees.

In the event Your account is referred to collection, You agree to pay all costs of collection, including all courts costs and attorneys’ fees incurred in collecting any sums.

Our products or services are exclusively available online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Refund Policy below.

We reserve the right to refuse our services to anyone. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting by email at the email address provided at the time the order was made or in any other manner based upon the contact information you provide to us. We reserve the right to refuse orders placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
